Your Body is the Best Bodyweight
If you are not quite sure how what the ideal weight is to lift, then maybe you need to consider lifting your own bodyweight. In fact often times, the ability to lift your own bodyweight well is the best the indicator of overall fitness and health. This is also a great goal that we should all have because it is a realistic goal that we only have ourselves to compare with. Exercises such as pushups, pullups, crunches, and self-weight squats are for the vast majority of people, the only workouts we actually need to be strong and fit. If you want to save time from going to the gym, or just not a fan of the gym, then focusing on bodyweight workouts can actually be the best path to take. The other benefit is that you can do bodyweight workouts anywhere you are without needing to go to the gym, so you can never have an excuse not to workout!
